Inspired by Scottish entrepreneur and philanthropist Andrew Carnegie (1835 – 1919). The painting aims to illustrate the enduring impact of Carnegie and how his example continues to inspire today’s generation of entrepreneurs. In short, Andrew Carnegie could look in the mirror today and proudly find – over a century on – people guided by his example, and image. Carnegie Hall, built by Carnegie in 1891, is just one of his legacies.
